3. My jewelry is top of the line, so I would like some extra security in terms of packaging. Do I have to use my own packaging or will you be supplying me with extra packaging materials? Our Gold Express Pack™ generally will be enough for any item you wish to send us. If you still have concerns about the packaging, please fell free to Contact Us and we can assist you in determining if you need additional packaging materials. 4. How will I know once you have received my jewelry? After waiting 5 business days (allowing your gold or jewelry to reach us), we ask that you call our toll-free number on our o Contact page and speak with a customer service representative. They will be able to determine if and when we received the Gold Express Pack™ from you and when we mailed your check. Top of Page 5. What if I am not satisfied with the payment that you sent me? Am I obligated to sell? If you are dissatisfied with your payment, do not worry. Send us the check back within 10 days of the date printed on the check. Once we have the check, we will return your gold or jewelry at our cost, no questions asked.
6. I have some gold but I'm not sure it's authentic. Can I still receive money for this? GoldPawnShop.com has a team of expert staff on hand to determine the value of gold and jewelry that is sent to us. If we determine that your gold is not real or authentic, we'll send it back to you. 7. Is your Gold Express Pack™ insured? We insure each of our Gold Express Packs™ in case of lost items. The maximum value of the insurance is $1000, subject to the terms and conditions of the insurer. Top of Page 8. Can I use my own packaging? You sure can. If you do not want to wait to receive a Gold Express Pack™ from us, feel free to use your own packaging. Please use the Contact Us form and we'll reply back to you with specific instructions on using your own packaging.
9. Can I get a quote for my jewelry over the phone? No. Gold prices fluctuate on a daily basis. Also, until our expert staff analyzes an item and performs a test on the material, we have no way of independently verifying that the item is as it is represented to us. We want to make sure that you get the full value for your jewelry, therefore we would not be able to accomplish this over the phone. Remember that if you are not completely satisfied with your payment we will send your jewelry back to you within 10 days of the date of the check. 10. Do you have any physical store locations where I can bring in my items to? GoldPawnShop.com is an online pawn shop and does not currently have a physical store location. Top of Page
11. Do you accept diamonds? Yes, we accept diamonds larger than one half carat. If you have a GIA Report (Gemological Institute of America) that accompanied your diamond when purchased, please include the report with the item. 12. What happens to gemstones on rings or bracelets? These items are often too time-consuming and difficult to remove without damage. We give you a value for your entire lot of items which includes the value of any gems or small diamonds which are part of the jewelry. In our analysis, however, most of these have little or no value and the weight of the item may be discounted by the stone weight.
